Thank You for choosing Little Red
Hen School, we will make this year the Best Beginning your child will ever
have. I extend a hearty welcome to you, both old and new friends. If
questions arise during the year concerning your child, I encourage you to
visit the school or call me anytime. 
We all look for forward to being
with you and your child in September. Our main concern is that we are
building a foundation for a lifetime for your child and we want it to be
the best one possible. If your child leaves Little Red Hen with a positive
self concept, he or she will carry it all throughout life.
We will always have time for you
and your child; this is your school.
You may pay your first payment
between June first and August first. Please respond no later than
August first to secure child's enrollment. The second tuition payment
is due September first and the first of each month thereafter with May
first being the tenth and final payment.
School begins the second week in September. Time for Nursery school (three year
old program) 9:00 to 12:00. Time for Preschool and Kindergarten students
8:45 to 11:45 for AM session. Time for PM session 1:00 to 4:00. If your
child attends for extended hours, time is anywhere between 8:00 and 4:00
PM.
*We
will be offering two different gym programs one with dance and one with
small apparatus. We also will offer a computer program and a program in
Tae Kwon Doe. Sign Language is included in tuition. I will
let you know more about these programs in September once we are in school.
At the end of
August, I will be sending you a parking map, starting date for your child
and the name of your child's teachers. Enjoy the summer and be ready for
an exciting and pleasurable year ahead. I am looking forward to being with
you and your child.
A few helpful
hints:
Please label all
outer clothing especially raincoats, sweaters, jackets, boots, mittens and
toys. Please do not allow your child to bring toys to school unless
requested by the teacher. Many times the toy gets "lost" amongst our toys.
When arriving at
school, please try to park your car in the designated parking areas. I
will be sending you a map showing the parking areas. Please plan to arrive
a few minutes before opening and a few minutes before closing.
Each month we will
have special days and special trips, therefore we will be sending a
newsletter home of the months activities.
On birthdays,
special days or any day that you would like, Parents have sent in snacks
for their child's class. Please keep good nutrition in mind. If either
parent has an occupation or hobby that we could share with the children,
please call me. We love to have parent involvement - You are the backbone
of our school.
Please notify the
school if your child has a communicable disease. lf your child is absent
for any reason, please call us. Please keep your child home if you suspect
that he or she is ill.
WPRO, Channel 6
and Channel 10 for school cancellations due to inclement weather.
We have special
instructions for anyone picking up your child, other than the parents. l
will send home a special form for pick up of your child in August.
You are an
important part of your child's school, we need your enthusiasm and input,
then your child will feel it also.
